Help the knight reach the star

Nobody is going to tell you the rule. Tap a dot and work it out, which is exactly what an Infants group does in its second week.

Tap a dot. A knight only moves in an L shape.

Why a knight and not a queen

The knight is the only piece whose move cannot be guessed by looking at the board. A queen slides, a rook slides, a bishop slides. The knight has to be learned, and once a five year old has learned it they have learned that a rule can be strange and still be a rule.

It is also the piece in our logo, which is not an accident.
